The award-winning museum offers a wide-variety of exhibits, classes, online sources as well as a library archive open to the public. The museum, located in Eau Claire’s Carson Park, also has a museum store and ice cream parlor.
Paul Bunyan Logging Camp
Experience what life was like in an 1890s logging camp when you visit the Paul Bunyan Camp located in Carson Park in Eau Claire.
Built in 1871 and preserved by the Chippewa Valley Museum, the Schlegelmilch House, at 517 South Farwell Street is an example of a middle-class, turn-of-the century home. Filled with furnishings from the earliest days of its long history, the house also contains some items belonging to the original Schlegelmilch family.
