There are several museums in the Eau Claire area providing a wide-variety of historical, educational and recreational experiences.

Chippewa Falls Museum of Industry & Technology
The museum, located at 21 East Grand Avenue in Chippewa Falls, was developed to record and preserve the history of important, unique and ground-breaking innovations in industry and technology that were developed here in the Chippewa Valley.

Children’s Museum of Eau Claire
Located at 220 South Barstow in downtown Eau Claire, the Children’s Museum is an interactive environment that inspires imagination, discovery, creativity and fosters the love of learning.

Chippewa Valley Museum
The award-winning museum offers a wide-variety of exhibits, classes, online sources as well as a library archive open to the public.  The museum, located in Eau Claire’s Carson Park, also has a museum store and ice cream parlor.

Paul Bunyan Logging Camp
Experience what life was like in an 1890s logging camp when you visit the Paul Bunyan Camp located in Carson Park in Eau Claire.

Schlegelmilch-McDaniel House
Built in 1871 and preserved by the Chippewa Valley Museum, the Schlegelmilch House, at 517 South Farwell Street is an example of a middle-class, turn-of-the century home.  Filled with furnishings from the earliest days of its long history, the house also contains some items belonging to the original Schlegelmilch family.
